Hi there,

If I create a user with 0 (zero) quota, iRedAdmin-Pro interprets that as meaning an unlimited quota.

How can I create a user that does not store email -- i.e., if the user only wants to create an email address to forward messages to an off-server domain?

I didn't find anything with the above search terms in the documentation or the forum.

Try this:

*) Set its quota to, e.g. 100MB.
*) Go to user profile page, click tab "Forwarding", update it with proper forwarding address(es), and do NOT check "Save a copy in mailbox".

Hi Zhang,

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I get that, and this is what I have been doing.

It just makes sense to me to be able to create a user with no storage (and perhaps even no password or "account" to log into) and just forward all of that user's email to an off-server email address. As much as I hate it, some users just want everything forwarded to their Gmail account or perhaps their ISP's email account.

Perhaps something for a future version.
