Hi,

Ive have performed an install of the latest version of iRedmail, followed the instructions on how to install it but i cant access the webUI of cluebringer and awstats.

Im just basing on the information that was present on my iRedmail.tips file after installation. It just prompts me for the username/password combination which I have already supplied. It doesnt go the cluebringer or awstats UI. Where does the program store the Username and password and how could I change it?

any help would be great.

Re: cannot access cluebringer andawstats

I am having the same issue. Just installed iRedMail-0.9.2 and can not log into AWStats or Cluebringer.

My apache error log reads:
[Mon Jul 06 07:50:32.436751 2015] [auth_basic:error] [pid 3672] [client 74.46.172.68:63522] AH01617: user postmaster@sanctuaryhq.com: authentication failure for "/awstats": Password Mismatch

though I am copying and pasting straight from the iRedMail.tips file

I am able to log into iRedAdmin using the same user/password combo.

Re: cannot access cluebringer andawstats

Please reset your password to MD5 and try again:
http://www.iredmail.org/docs/reset.user.password.html

This is a known issue since iRedMail-0.9.0 since we use SSHA512 password hash instead weak MD5.

Re: cannot access cluebringer andawstats

So, here's the rub on that. Following the instructions and changing the password to MD5 still results in an error.

[Tue Jul 07 09:41:05.923896 2015] [auth_basic:error] [pid 2090] [client 74.44.184.59:53792] AH01617: user postmaster@sanctuaryhq.com: authentication failure for "/cluebringer/": Password Mismatch

Everything seems to be working except for the ability to log into awstats and cluebringer.

Re: cannot access cluebringer andawstats

It works for me. What's the sample MD5 password you generated? Do you have password scheme prefixed in password hash?

This one (MD5) works for me:

$1$5FUkXXGd$uHVDd2cVS1oBfFJj4ixcr/

The same one with password scheme prefixed doesn't work:

{CRYPT}$1$5FUkXXGd$uHVDd2cVS1oBfFJj4ixcr/

Hope it helps.
