We have some scenario would like suggestion for that

We have hosted iRedmail on our server and but Our Primary server is on Google and by split delivery it's redirecting on the iRedmail
So first it goes to Google and if not found such user there it will direct to iRed Mail
Domain is same on both side.

Few of users in Google account which uses google's POP/SMTP Settings and most of all other users available in iredmail server with iredmail server's POP/SMTP Settings

By mistake, google account users were created in iRedadmin, now if other users send email to them it's going to iredadmin account, not able to routing through Google server as may be it's searching on local server tables.

Deleting such users from iRedadmin is not helping and gives below error

"Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table"

For temparay basis, We have used forwarding rules for sending mails on google account but it's not proper solution for that.

One more issue with that on receiving emails from them as iredmail is going to reject such user by below error

Sender address rejected: not logged in;

Any suggestion/solution will be appreciated to overcome this situations

Re: iRedadmin as secondary server

*) Create same accounts on both iRedMail and Google Apps.

*) on iRedMail server, update mail accounts which hosted locally to use per-user transport 'dovecot'. update mail accounts which hosted on Google Apps to use per-user transport 'smtp:smtp.gmail.com:25'. With this setting, emails sent to iRedMail server directly will be either delivered locally, or relayed to Google Apps.

I have no idea how to overcome 'Sender address rejected: not logged in' error, since iRedMail forces users hosted on localhost to perform smtp authentication before sending email.
