Topic: iRedMail-0.9.2 has been released.

== UPDATE: Sep 3, 2015 ==
We re-packed iRedMail-0.9.2 to enable SOGo on RHEL/CentOS 7.

====
Dear all,

iRedMail-0.9.2 stable release has been released.

* Download it: http://www.iredmail.org/download.html
* Upgrade tutorials are available here: http://www.iredmail.org/docs/iredmail.releases.html

Below are detailed changes since iRedMail-0.9.1:

  • SOGo now works on RHEL/CentOS 7, Debian 8.

  • LMTP (port 24) and managesieve (port 4190) services are now listening on only localhost (127.0.0,1 and ::1) by default.

  • Improve Fail2ban filter `postfix.iredmail.conf` to prevent DoS attack to SMTP service.

Fixed issues
  • Fix 'The Logjam Attack' ssl related issue. Reference: https://weakdh.org/

  • catch-all support doesn't work with user+extension@domain.com. Thanks to stevekez <iredmail@stevekerrison.com> for the contribution in iRedMail support forum.

  • uwsgi service doesn't work on RHEL/CentOS. A new version of uwsgi package was submitted to EPEL repo with higher priority (not submitted by iRedMail team), it's not compatible with settings configured by iRedMail, this causes uwsgi service cannot be started.

  • Not create required SQL tables in `vmail` database with PostgreSQL backend.

  • Cannot import MySQL database on Jailed FreeBSD.

  • Not install required port 'databases/py-sqlalchemy' on FreeBSD.

Updated packages
  • iRedAPD -> 1.6.0. Lots of bug fixes.

Re: iRedMail-0.9.2 has been released.

This is great! Thank you Zhang and the rest of the iRedMail team! These are all welcomed fixes and improvements! Especially fixing the logjam vulnerability (which, admittedly, I wasn't too familiar with until just now). I'm glad that the fixes were rolled out as part of the update, as it got me to patch my other non-mail servers as well! Thanks for all your hard work!

Re: iRedMail-0.9.2 has been released.

Just incase someone is trying to copy paste from the "HOW TO" , be mindful of removing the (Dovecot 2.2.6 or greater) from :

ssl_prefer_server_ciphers = yes (Dovecot 2.2.6 or greater)

should look like:

ssl_prefer_server_ciphers = yes

Re: iRedMail-0.9.2 has been released.

Hi Mr. Zhang

My server is Centos 7

I got a message during installation   '' No presto metadata available for iredmail''

And could you tell me if the port 587 is opened, I used iRedmail firewall rule.

Thanks in advance

Does re-execute iRedMail installer solve this issue?

Yes, it's open.

Please create a new forum topic, tell us your Linux/BSD distribution name, distro release version and some other basic info.

Also, does your server have Cluebringer packages installed (after iRedMail installation)?

Re: iRedMail-0.9.2 has been released.

Hi Zhang,

I am looking forward to implement iRedmail for self and our client.
I have some queries about the admin panel.

If suppose I configure multiple domain on iRedmail server then,
Is it possible to give individual access of domain control panel to our customer?

Thanks & Regards,
Vaibhav Patil.

I was .... but this is not for instaling SOGo the same way as via your script (iRedMail.sh)....

One question more .... I have installed RoundCube, If I add SOGo does sieve rules work on both clients ?

iRedMail just automates the steps mentioned in the document.

kmihalj wrote:

Do not enable sieve support in both Roundcube and SOGo, because they don't use the syntax of sieve rules generated by each other, especially comment lines. So please disable sieve rules in either one.

The latest iRedMail development edition already supports SOGo on FreeBSD, it will be available in next iRedMail release (iRedMail-0.9.3).

Thanks Zhang, have upgrade from 0.8.7 to 0.9.2.

Unfortunately, no.
You can test the basic features like IMAP/POP3/SMTP, webmail, SOGo.
