1. What is the correct version of dovecot to use with iRedAdmin-Pro?

The nightly security check said there was a security vulnerability in mailman-2.1.19, sudo I used 'sudo pkg upgrade mailman' to upgrade to 2.1.20. This also upgraded dovecot to dovecot2 2.2.16_1.

Ever since the upgrade our monitoring system has complained about IMAPS authentication being broken:

IMAP WARNING - Unexpected response from host/socket: * BYE Disconnected: Auth process broken

I can deinstall / reinstall dovecot, but need to know the correct version.

2. Is it OK to upgrade to iRedMail 0.9.0 on FreeBSD 10? The upgrade docs mention Linux and OpenBSD platforms but do not mention FreeBSD.

Thanks!

with iRedMail-0.8.7, Dovecot-2.x will be installed on FreeBSD. It's ok to upgrade to dovecot-2.2.x.

Please restart Dovecot service first, check its log file to see whether there's error message. I guess some Dovecot config files were replaced during upgrading, main config file is /usr/local/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf.

It's ok to upgrade.
Upgrade tutorials are applicable to all supported Linux/BSD distributions.
