Hi All,

Greetings to all.

Can you guys kindly help to find out the necessary module/files that can allow me to modify global password length since the current password length is 8 digit. I'm actually going to import all my Zimbra users to this iRedMail since this is more easier to use than Zimbra but my users having password with 6 digit only.

It's controlled in iRedAdmin-Pro config file 'settings.py'. Also, there is per-domain option available in domain profile page, under tab 'Advanced'.

If you are importing accounts from Zimbra from SQL/LDAP command line, you don't need to care about password length restriction set with iRedAdmin-Pro.

iRedAdmin open source edition use the same config file as iRedAdmin-Pro. Try it.

How do you import mail accounts?

Hi ZhangHuangbin,

The main reason of switching from Zimbra to iRedMail is for unnecessary complexity of settings modification and large memory usage by Zimbra.


Can you kindly let me know the path of the settings.py in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS?

Is there any way to create bulk email accounts with predefined passwords ? please advise. Thank you.

Check scripts shipped in iRedMail: tools/create_mail_user_*.

can you kindly let me know which ports i need to open in my router to use as exchange with SOGO? My mail server is behind a router. I have installed sogo along with iRedmail bundle now i want to configure MS Outlook and and Android devices as exchange account, kindly let me know which ports i should open in my router.

For SOGo, just port 443 (https).
