Zhang - if I'm using REMOTE cluebringer server, does mysql-server still need to be installed on local machine (even if it's not started) for Cluebringer DBD::mysql dependencies?

Thanks,
sam

SQL server is required by some components: Cluebringer, Roundcube webmail, iRedAdmin, Awstats (user authentication).
Ideally, you can update their config files to use a remote SQL server.

Re: Problem with cluebringer and remote MySQL

Yes Zhang. I transferred all databases to a remote server, and all connection information. All are working fine, except cluebringer. I see "Internal Server Error 500". So the policyd log says "DBD::mysql not found". But DBD::mysql is actually installed! mysql-server itself is a dependency I think.
