Hi,

I've been running this server for over a year.  Emails from over a year ago seem to no longer exist.  Is there a process running that automatically purges or archives old email?  I haven't explicitly archived or deleted them.  Thanks for any insight.

iRedMail doesn't have cron job to delete old emails.

Thank you for your quick response.  So, just to confirm, without an email client doing the archiving and purging, iredmail would let the file system fill up before it would purge emails?

If the quota is met, nothing will expunge. New emails will just bounce. Your expunging is probably the work of your email client.

Yes, but as @hdco mentioned, except the mailbox quota was reached. smile
