I am following the steps http://www.iredmail.org/docs/active.directory.html in ubuntu 14 server with latest release of iRedMail,

suddenly in the middle, talking like...

Enable LDAP query with AD in Postfix

Disable unused iRedMail special settings:

I cannot understand anything after this, where is the file location?
Can anyone help me?

They're shell commands. "postconf" is a command, provided by Postfix.

I entered this command and got a list of parameters.

How to edit these values, is there any particular file I can manually change the values as mentioned in the doc?

I am actually testing with Windows Server 2012 R2 Active Directory,

I got successful upto..  telnet to verify AD query after restarted Dovecot service

Will get back on all cases, success and failure...

I did the setup successfully with Windows Server 2012 R2,
I could send and receive emails with test accounts and test groups.. all good.
need to dig further about OU & Domains,
