Hi!
I have a question, how do I use the backend, MySQL or OpenLDAP?
My server is running in this distribution:
Outgoing emails - 95%
Incoming emails - 15%
The number of email accounts - 20-30
Will grow over time only the number of outgoing messages.
I'm interested in the question from the point of view of memory allocation. Which of the two backend consume less memory MySQL or OpenLDAP?
Thank you!

Re: MySQL or OpenLDAP

On average, MySQL will consume the least amount of memory between the 3 options provided, assuming they're all optimized for the system they're on. LDAP is complicated and not worth dealing with unless you're integrating iRedMail with an application that requires it.

Re: MySQL or OpenLDAP

There's no big difference of iRedMail between 3 backends: OpenLDAP, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL. So, please choose the one you're familiar with, for easier management and maintenance.
