Hi, all.
iRedMail-0.6.0-rc1 released. Read release note in our wiki: Release note
----
Urgent issue? Pay iRedMail developer to solve it remotely at $29.Is there a recommended upgrade route from beta3?
Beta and RC version is not recommended to deploy in product servers, and no upgrade tutorial availabel for Beta/RC versions.
I've two questions regarding this ![]()
1. How long will it rougly take to bring 0.6.0 to final. I know there cannot be any word on a date, however is it like weeks or even months?
I'm currently running a self-made mail server which does not satisfy myself really (i.e. no webmail, no filter for users, bad hardware and other reasons). So I've got another root box where I will deploy iRedMail and move there from the old box.
So if it takes week, I stay at the old server for some time and move to the new one as soon as 0.6.0 is there.
If it takes longer, I'll go with 0.5.1 instantly and have to upgrade / reinstall later.
2. Are there migration plans to get form 0.5.1 to 0.6.0 savely, or will it more be like backup database / mails, re-install and restore backup'ed data?
Thanks,
White

Upgrade tutorial will be available when 0.6.0 released, like former releases here:

hi zhang,
i have bugs IRM on lucid-lync(x64)
but now, running well by :
1. change on line 88 : mysql-server-5.0 mysql-client-5.0 --> mysql-server-5.1 mysql-client-5.1
2. remove mailx on line 288
3. patching "roundcubemail-0.3.1/program/lib/MDB2/Driver$ mysqli.php" with this --> http://trac.roundcube.net/raw-attachmen … .php.patch
4. comment line 213 & 216 on "dovecot.conf"
is it ok zhang?
we need the script to uninstall IRM bcause if got an error while installing IRM we can reinstall it
why u remove the script to uninstall it?
i hope there's a facility to viewing IRM queue (view, delete, move, stop, etc)

Both were fixed weeks ago.
3. patching "roundcubemail-0.3.1/program/lib/MDB2/Driver$ mysqli.php" with this --> http://trac.roundcube.net/raw-attachmen … .php.patch
I saw this in roundcube mail list, will consider picking it up.

It's better to post these two lines here.

No plan yet. but there're some open source tools available in sf.net
TO install iRedMail-0.6.0-RC1 or the trunk version on Ubuntu 10.04, you should install postfix-policyd manually first. and then run iRedMail scripts.
