Topic: iRedmail and Android Phones

Hello,

If I use iRedmail as my mailserver for my new domain and new VPS, is it possible to access emails from Android Phones. Is there any app ? Or any other method ?

I am planning to buy a Nexus5 next week.

Thanks.

Just use the built-in mail client, accessing mailbox via standard IMAP protocol.

You mean use  the Generic Email Client in Android Phone. And use the IMAP protocol in the phone and in all other machines.

Yes. Both IMAP and POP3 protocols are available.

okay, great. Thanks.

I have installed iRedmail to one of my client. Suppose if he want to make changes without my help, for instance setting a whitelist email id, is there any web interface for doing such things ?

You can access Cluebringer webui via address: httpS://[your_server]/cluebringer/
NOTE: I suggest you try to access it and add some whitelists, it's not very easy to use.

Another solution is giving our web admin panel a try, iRedAdmin-Pro: http://www.iredmail.org/admin_panel.html
