Hello everyone,

How to setup one user with only one mailbox receiving from two different domains (user1@domain1.com or user1@domain2.com)? Domain alias ?

Scenario:
Someone sends an email to user1@domain1.com or user1@domain2.com  and user1 checks his only one mailbox and gets the email.

Thanks for the support.

Re: One user, one mailbox, two different domains.

If you both domain1.com and domain2.com are hosted on your server, there're two ways:

1: Create accounts user1@domain1 and user1@domain2, then forward one of them to another account.
2: Create accounts user1@domain1 and user2@domain2, then set the same maildir path for them, so that all emails delivered to the same mailbox without forward.

Domain alias is used for whole domain, for example, all emails sent to user [USERNAME]@domain2.com will be delivered to mailbox of [USERNAME]@domain1.com (username part is same as [USERNAME]@domain2.com).
