Thank You Zhang.
i have installed iredmail now.

i want to change the outgoing mail smtp port(587) .. i want the mails to go from port 60587. similarly i want to change 465 to 60465
Is there any way to do that ??

You can update /etc/postfix/master.cf, replace 'submission' by '60587', replace 'smtps' by 60465.
But seriously and curious, why do you want to change them?

Re: Unable to install iredmail -- errors in: libapache2-mod-auth-mysql

Hi Zhang
I'm using Google compute engine and the worst problem with them is that

Google Compute Engine blocks or restricts traffic through all of the following ports/protocols between the Internet and virtual machines, as well as between two virtual machines when traffic is addressed to their public IP addresses (this also includes load-balanced addresses).

All outgoing traffic to port 25 (SMTP) is blocked.
Most outgoing traffic to port 465 or 587 (SMTP over SSL) is blocked. except for known Google IP addresses
All traffic that uses a protocol other than TCP, UDP, and ICMP is blocked.

After talking to the support they told us you can use 60465 and 60587 instead .

and hence the all confusion smile
