Hello everyone!

I'm doing a test for make a presentation of IRedMail. The server is hosted under a static IP with PfSense as firewall.

I want to point one of my domain name to the mail server. How do I setup the DNS in my domain hotel and what should I do in the firewall and what settings do I have to do on my ubuntu machine?

I'm a neewbie, first time setting up a mail server.

Now I have successfully got the webmail to work. send and recive messages.

But I can't setup thunderbird... can't send or recive. Why? Is there any logbooks?

*) You need to set both A and MX records in DNS.
*) You must open required network ports in firewall. e.g. smtp, submission, imaps, pop3s, http/https.
