Topic: Any concerns or issues doing do-release-upgrade on Ubuntu OS

I'm going to update my server's OS from Ubuntu 10 to Ubuntu 12 using the standard Ubuntu method "do-release-upgrade"

Is there any special things I need to do to make sure iredmail is still working as expected before the upgrade?

*) I'm afraid Dovecot will not work very well: Ubuntu 10.x ships Dovecot-1.x, but Ubuntu 12.04 ships Dovecot-2.x. Dovecot-2.x has different config settings and cannot work with config file for 1.x.

*) You may want to drop Amavisd database and re-create it with proper SQL structure, so that it can insert records correctly.

Another solution is setting up a new iRedMail server then migrate your old server to this new one. Here's brief tutorial:
