Hi,

One of my clients is using MS Exchange and really pissed off with the privacy and security concerns and so I recommended him to go for iRedMail. Our team is testing it for over 5 days now and pretty impressed. Now the client has 2 mandatory requirements.
1. The emails should not be downloadable from pop3 / smtp etc (and the web access only ensures that the emails are no where stored on the user end.)
2. The users can read, forward, reply the emails but they should not be able to delete the emails.

How does one achieve the 2nd task? Any help or even a pointer into right direction will be much appreciated!

Thank you.

Quote from Dovecot author post in mailing list:

You could create a (global) ACL to not allow user to delete own mails. But some clients will probably keep redownloading the same mails over and over again then.

NOTE: I didn't try it before, use it on your own.
