For various reasons, I want to change the database on my server from PostgreSQL to MySQL. I found a post here on the forum, from about a year ago, that says this should be easy to do -- just dump all records from one to the other.

http://www.iredmail.org/forum/topic3577 … mysql.html

I'm wondering if this recommendation is still true? Also, I suspect it will be necessary to edit some config files, which ones would those be?

Thanks.

Still the same, EASY. just dump/backup on old server (PostgreSQL), then import it on new server (MySQL). I suggest you try it on a testing machine first.
