I'm testing a simple fallback iRedMail server
the setup is

2x the same vps hardware
ired1.domain.ext [ip 1] (mx prio 1)
ired2.domain.ext [ip 2] (mx prio 2)

Then I read this but its not up to date anymore
http://www.iredmail.org/wiki/index.php? … _GlusterFS

I installed gluster using yum using this url:
http://www.howtoforge.com/high-availabi … ge-servers
and serveral other blogs, but its only working without syncing the directory's and not the files :S (and one way)

I was hoping that someone can update the wiki or give me an alternative to create a simple fallback option.
Its a test , so I can reinstall everything over and over.

Or is this good enough:
rsync all data from ired1.domain.ext /{mail dir} to ired2.domain.ext
But then when ired1.domain.ext goes up, it maybe wrong...
So rsync from ired2.domain.ext /{mail dir} to ired1.domain.ext

I prefer Gluster but don't know how to get it working.
