Topic: sender not logged in

- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 12.04

I have this in my mail logs. What is the cause of this? and how can I fix this?

Please configure your mail client to enable SMTP auth for sending email.

But this email came from clients. We don't have control over their mail clients.
What are the real world consequences if I removed this from the postfix main.cf?

Why they use your email address as "Sender"? If it's not permitted by you, then it's spam.
