==== Required information ====

====
Curently dovecot.conf is configure with thi, and users are using port 995 in outlook and thunderbird to retrieve emails.
disable_plaintext_auth=yes
ssl=yes

However, users in outlook (everytime outlook is started) they receive a certificate error (Server Security not Verified) and need to click Yes to continue using outlook. I would like to remove this message by allowing insecure POP3 and connect them via port 110.
If I do this in the dovecot.conf, will users connecting via port 995 (secure POP3) in Thunderbird still be able to get their emails?
disable_plaintext_auth=no
ssl=yes

Re: Allow insecure POP3

The best solution is purchasing a valid SSL certificate, there're some SSL venders provide FREE ssl certificate too, so just get one for your server. Insecure POP3/IMAP connection is not recommended.
