I've just installed Ubuntu 12.10 and tried to install iRedMail. I'm new to Ubuntu and iRedMail. What is it about Ubuntu 12.10 that is not compatible with iRedMail 0.8.5? Can it be installed somehow or will I need to install version .04 of Ubuntu?

Please check which Linux/BSD distributions are supported by iRedMail-0.8.5 on Download page:
http://www.iredmail.org/download.html

Currently, Ubuntu 12.04 and 13.04 are supported.
