Topic: Problems with dovecot-auth

Hi,

I found these lines in my /var/log/mail.err log:

Dec 27 19:41:22 athena postfix/smtpd[31983]: warning: SASL: Connect to dovecot-auth failed: Connection refused
Dec 27 19:41:22 athena postfix/smtpd[31983]: fatal: no SASL authentication mechanisms
Dec 27 19:41:23 athena postfix/master[7272]: warning: process /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd pid 31983 exit status 1
Dec 27 19:41:23 athena postfix/master[7272]: warning: /usr/lib/postfix/smtpd: bad command startup -- throttling

It's the first time it happens and it doesn't seem to be happening again. Moreover authentication works just fine (I send and receive mail). What could that mean?

EDIT: BTW, I'm using iRedMail on Debian Lenny 5.0.3.

Maybe dovecot was dead that time.
