Topic: Quota size of all outgoing emails + Policyd throttling

Hello,

If  'Quota size of all outgoing emails'  is equal to 0 on Profile of domain -> Throttling tab, then SENDERQUOTALIMIT from /etc/policyd_sender_throttle.conf is used instead of unlimited quota.

Quota size of all outgoing emails=0
cat from /var/log/maillog
from=quota@tst.example.org, to=usr@example.org, size=23174639/31457280, quota=185395160/250000000, count=8/512(9), rcpt=8/3600(9), threshold=64%|1%|0%

Quota size of all outgoing emails=2000000000
cat from /var/log/maillog
from=quota@tst.example.org, to=usr@example.org, size=23174637/31457280, quota=301268347/2000000000, count=13/512(14), rcpt=13/3600(14), threshold=13%|2%|0%

Sorry, what's your point?

Re: Quota size of all outgoing emails + Policyd throttling

My point is that when you enable sender throttling for the domain, "Quota size of all outgoing emails" is equal to zero by default (unlimited?), but in fact quota for outgoing emails is limited to 250MB by SENDERQUOTALIMIT parameter from /etc/policyd_sender_throttle.conf

Re: Quota size of all outgoing emails + Policyd throttling

There is no such thing as unlimited sender quota for policyd 1.82.
Zero as default for sender throttling quota in iRedAdmin-Pro admin panel is confusing.

I suggest to change defaults to the maximum 2gigs.
