Dear community,

i installed iRedMail successfully on my fresh v-server Ubuntu 12.04
but i can't login into iredmail:

https://mail.mydomain.com/iredadmin/

I used the login-data from the iRedMail.info file
and tried to change the password directly in the database:

MySQL vmail.admin and inserted a new created password:
# openssl passwd -1 'mypasswd'
$1$Af1GkO6C$A8tu/zX1P6E4t4Mb0TpYk0

I allways get the same message, that the username or password is incorrect.


Does anyone know a solution?

Username used to login to iRedAdmin is mentioned in iRedMail.tips file, not iRedMail.info.
Please search "postmaster@" in iRedMail.tips, you will find it.

thank you for your quick reply.


Sorry, i misspelled the iRedMail.tips file.
The information in this file didn't help me out.
I coudn't login into the iRedAdmin with the postmaster user and password or other combinations.

I had to reinstall the whole system and now it works without any problems.
