Topic: Problem with alias in postfix on new install

- iRedMail version and backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): 0.8.1 MySQL
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Debian 6

warning: connect to mysql server 127.0.0.1: Unknown database 'dbispconfig'
warning: mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-virtual_client.cf: table lookup problem

Hi, I have just done a new install and was installing on a server which once had ispconfig installed on it.
I removed everything I could find relating to it including postfix, mysql, apache, etc, but somehow there are still pieces of config left which seem to be stopping me from receiving email.

I get the above error message in the mail.log and it looks like it is trying to map the user address to the old ispconfig MySQL database instead of the new iRedMail database.

I can't seem to find any references regarding that actually needs to be set to make this work, can anybody help with this or is there some way I can reinstall to fix this problem ?

Thanks
Paul

Re: Problem with alias in postfix on new install

Looks like you have some historical parameters in Postfix.
The simplest way to solve it is, re-install the OS, then install the latest iRedMail.
