Topic: Upgrade from 0.1.4??

Hello community.

I hope you can help me with the following problem:

When I enter the administrator frontend, it says
iRedadmin: 0.1.4

Does it mean that I use a very, very old version of iRedmail or does this information only belong to the version of the frontend.
If it means that my iRedMail version is quite old, how can I upgrade to the latest version?

What do you recommend?
- Stay with the old version?
- Uninstall the version (is it possible?) and install the new one?
- Upgrade to the latest version (unfortunately there are only upgrade-guides beginning from 0.3.2)

Thank you for your help and best regards,
1graser

It means you're running a (very) old version of the web-based admin panel, not iRedMail. The latest iRedAdmin is 0.1.8, download available here: http://iredmail.org/yum/misc/

But, usually, old iRedAdmin (open source edition) means you're running an old version of iRedMail, too. You can find iRedMail version number in Postfix config files. e.g. /etc/postfix/ldap/*.cf, or /etc/postfix/mysql/*.cf.

It's strongly recommended to always keep your iRedMail up to date by following our upgrade tutorials.
Upgrade tutorials are available here: http://iredmail.org/doc.html#upgrade_tutorial

This is recommended and easiest way for upgrading from a very old iRedMail version to the latest version.

Please test the migration on testing server first, not on production server directly.

This is for iRedMail, not iRedAdmin. smile
