Topic: I can't connect to my mail server

Hello,

I am trying to connect Eudora to my mail server.
http://www.eudora.com

These are my settings:

Email: peace5@mydomain.com
user: peace5
password: XXXXXXX

Incoming mail server name pop3
mail.mydomain.com
port: 110

Outgoing Mail Server Name
mail.mydomain.com
port: 25

But it does not work at all.

Could you please help me?

what should I configure at iRedMail to fix this?

Login username must be an valid email address, like below:

Email: peace5@mydomain.com
user: peace5@mydomain.com

i was reading the Eudora's user guide and it has something like:

Incoming mail server name pop3
pop3.domain.com

Outgoing Mail Server Name
smtp.domain.com

Should I configure something in iRedMail?

Could you please post authentication log in /var/log/dovecot.log in your iRedMail server? So that we can know what happened.

Should I modify main.cf?

Postfix    main.cf
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost, localhost.localdomain, localhost.$myhostname, MY_PC_IP

This is a fresh log.

Also, I tried the imap port 143. but it does not work.

No errors in your dovecot log.

Hello

It means that I configured Eudora with the settings (below) and
Eudora can't send or receive any email. Also,
I checked Eudora with another mail server and
Eudora is working ok.

Settings:
Email: peace5@mydomain.com
user: peace5@mydomain.com
password: XXXXXXX

Incoming mail server name pop3
mail.mydomain.com
port: 110

Outgoing Mail Server Name
mail.mydomain.com
port: 25

you use pop connect, why the log show imap connect?

or you can try to use the imap conect whether working.

I do not know, it is the information in /var/log/dovecot.log
