iRedMail is a great way of deploy on the go email solution. I am using it and it work all the time. But I was wondering how to set out of office via outlook/thunderbird? I know you can set out of office in webmail but is there a way to do it in email client like outlook/thunderbird?

Re: Out of office for iRedMail

Out-of-office message is a sieve rule, so if your mail client (Thunderbird, Outook, Roundcube webmail, etc) works with managesieve protocol, it should be fine.

Thunderbird has the Sieve addon, unfortunately it's not exactly easy to use... You also have to configure your server's firewall to open the sieve port outside.
