Topic: Forgot postmaster password

Hi zang,

we are unable to loging iredadmin i have put in username - postmaster@aipl.in and password has been forget . kindly support how to reset iredadmin password.

Hi manoj,

Please post your new question in new forum topic instead of hijacking other's post.

  • If you didn't change postmaster password after iRedMail installation, you can find it in file "iRedMail.tips" under iRedMail installation directory. For example, /root/iRedMail-0.7.4/iRedMail.tips.

  • If you changed postmaster password after iRedMail installation, you can still login to phpLDAPadmin with LDAP root dn (cn=Manager,dc=xx,dc=xx) to change it.

  • If you forgot password of LDAP root dn, please reset it in slapd.conf with setting "rootpw", then restart OpenLDAP service and try phpLDAPadmin again.
