I would like to know if anyone can help with the mtaTransport setting? We changed it in Ldap to point to external smtp host for the domain and it works, but it also tries to deliver local (internal) users to the smarthost.

It also seems that the mtaTransport setting is not working consistantly. It still tries to send out directly without using the smarthost.

We are totally new to iRedmail so if you mention a value we should change, can you please tell us where it is found?

Thanks in advance

Re: Smarthost

I think what you need is "relayhost" in Postfix, not mtaTransport (per-domain transport).

Thank you, yes that works as a global setting but I am stumped getting the per domain delivery to different smtp smarthosts working.

Would appreciate just a short howto and which files are where if possible.

Thanks

Re: Smarthost

Then you need "sender_dependent_relayhost_maps":
