Topic: why mysql installed even i selected ldap as back end?

Hi,

I know it is a newbie question, please try to clarify my doubt
I have installed iredmail 7.02 on ubuntu10.04 64-bit, while installing I have chosen the ldap as back end, but I have observed that mysql also installed with it, is it necessary or I did any mistake?

Regards

Choosing OpenLDAP backend means it will store mail accounts in OpenLDAP, but MySQL is required for other components. e.g. Policyd, Roundcube. Policyd will store blacklist/whitelist/greylist records in it, Roundcube will store per-user preferences, contacts in MySQL too.
