- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 7.2

We have migrated from an old iredmail server to a new one using the migration procedure found in the support website:

http://www.iredmail.org/docs/migrate.to … erver.html and http://www.iredmail.org/docs/backup.restore.html)

but unable to send and receive email on the new server. Is there anyway to troubleshoot the root cause? The iredmail, iredadmin pro, roundcube, mail accounts, data and keys has been migrated successfully.

Thank you!

Re: Unable to send and receive email after server migration

Can you try to send an email and then post the relevant entry from your /var/log/mail.log file?

Think the best strategy would be to try to solve sending first. This being said what return error are you getting when trying to send an email to your server with an old Yahoo/Gmail/Hotmail account? There is a good chance the emails are hitting your server and even if an error code isn't being returned on the Yahoo/Gmail side there will be very good information as to why the emails are being rejected in the same log file as above.

If there is nothing in the log files about emails receieved even touching your server the issue is with DNS or the server/ NAT firewall.
