Topic: [SOLVED] Unable to install iRedMail - hostname issue

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
- Web server (Apache or Nginx):
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

I'm trying to do a fresh install on a new server (Ubuntu 16.04) and I keep getting the following error:

nown
<< ERROR >> Please configure a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) in /etc/hosts before we go further.

Example:

127.0.0.1   mail.iredmail.org mail localhost

I've confirmed that the /etc/hosts is correct:

#
root@maurice:~/iRedMail-0.9.6# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.1.1    maurice.mydomain.com    maurice    localhost localhost.localdomain

# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
::1     localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters

Changing to 127.0.0.1 has no effect.

Any pointers/help?
