Hi,
first of all registering here is not quite simple, because the helo from the registration mail is a non existent subdomain (iredmail blocks that): gproxy7.mail.unifiedlayer.com

But my main problem is, that the helo of my sent mails is localhost.localdomain, and I dont know why.
When I change my /etc/hosts file its resetting after a reboot to localhost.localdomain local mail mail.mydomain.tld

nevermind seems like ubuntu does this, not iredmail

Re: wrong helo when sending mails

I guess you use "localhost.localdomain" as server hostname while installing iRedMail? Please check "myhostname =" setting in /etc/postfix/main.cf, make sure you have the correct one.

Re: wrong helo when sending mails

I did not, but my ubuntu installation changed the hosts file after every reboot, as i mentioned above ^^
so nothing to worry, i fixed it already
