Topic: Order settings are proceesed

Hi,

I did stumble across something in the doco that explained the order / priority in which Global, Domain and User settings are processed.

Could someone please point me to a document or topic that explains this.

Regards,

Re: Order settings are proceesed

Hi Zhang,

I am specifically interested to understand the order spam settings are applied (system, global, domain and user).

Robert

Re: Order settings are proceesed

I suppose you mean "Spam Policy", right?

Amavisd will query available spam policies by email address (per-user), '@domain.com' (per-domain), and '@.' (global, a.k.a. catch-all).

if this user (recipient) has its own spam policy, it will be applied and others will be ignored. Same to per-domain policy.
