Topic: "Old" version of PostgreSQL?

Just wondered if there are any reasons that the included PostgreSQL version is so old?

Edit: I am using CentOS 7..

iRedMail uses the one shipped by CentOS 7.

Yes, but I noticed you are using a newer version of Dovecot so that's why I wondered about PostgreSQL, since the 9.2 version is quite old...

Re: "Old" version of PostgreSQL?

*) 9.2 or 9.4, 9.5, 9.6 doesn't matter in iRedMail, we just use the one shipped by linux/bsd vendor.
*) Dovecot is IMAP/POP3 server, new versions has new features and bug fixes we need, so we repacked new version.
