Topic: Quarantine support in iRedMail (not -Pro)

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 0.9.5-1
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:  Ubuntu 16.04
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):  MySQL
- Web server (Apache or Nginx):  Apache
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?:  NO
- Related log if you're reporting an issue:  n/a
====

I'd like to put virus but not spam quarantine in action and read the online documentation:  http://www.iredmail.org/docs/quarantining.html  with interest.

The implementation of basic quarantining looks simple but the management is based around the Web Interface for iRedMail-Pro. I don't have this and I don't need to enable per-user management - I would be happy to handle it myself on an individual basis using MySQL queries or scripts.

Is there an equivalent approach that would work for IRedMail ?

Cheers,

Martin

PS Thanks to the team for putting iRedMail together and supporting it. I've learnt such a lot implementing it and, whilst I can't afford -Pro (just for my family's needs) I've been happy to make a donation and would encourage others to as well !

The quarantining is done by Amavisd, iRedAdmin-Pro just helps you manage quarantined emails. You can manage them with telnet or other tools. FYI:

Thanks Zhang, that's very helpful - I'll work through this and check with the various amavis resources if I struggle !

Best regards,
