Hi Team,

I managed to install and configure iredmail with active directory 2012. I need to be able to create aliase email addresses only for certain users ie user@domain.com as primary but also an alias as sales@domain.com.

Can anyone assist on how to achieve this when active directory is in the mix.

regards,
Rajbps

Re: alias for emails

With OpenLDAP, we use LDAP attribute "shadowAddress" for this purpose. You should pick up one attr in AD for this. Also, create a LDAP lookup file in Postfix to query this alias address in parameter "virtual_alias_maps".

I suggest you check iRedMail + OpenLDAP setup for reference.
