Topic: Every outgoing mail goes to google spam

Hi,

I have this strange problem on a server that work without issues from almost 3 years.
In the last week every mail that comes from from iredmail and goes to gmail, is identified by google as spam.
Is not market as spam (with tags) but goes in spamtrap.
Other provider is ok with mail coming from my server (hotmail, yahoo, etc), the problem rise only with gmail.

The server of course has a public IP and this IP is not blacklisted.
Also I have a regular PTR ad outgoing messages is signed with SPF and DKIM.
I really don't understand what happens and I'm struggling with this problem...
Thanks in advance.

An example of one mail arrived in gmail and identified as spam:

Re: Every outgoing mail goes to google spam

Hard to say why it happened because Gmail is like a blackbox to us. Maybe someone received your email and reported it as spam, this affects your mail domain reputation in Gmail.

There's something I can do about it, as a sys admin?
I try to contact google, but there's not a direct contact.

I wish to be sure, anyway, I'm ok from my side...

Google is a mystery with their spam detection. I had some problems as well with one server, not on any blacklists and SPF, DKIM and everything correct but still all mail to gmail went to spam. Then just simple change of IP fixed everything, so possibly Google has some own blacklist method and this IP was just for some spamming before, who knows smile

Yes, Google is a mystery when it comes to their spam detection, but you can get some info about your domain if you register at Google Postmaster tools, validate domain and then you can analyze delivery errors, spam reports and more.

Hope it helps

Only problem with Postmaster Tools is, that you need hundreads of email to gmail from your server to get some data out of there.
