Hi, I have a clean install and just tried email addresses with delimiters. They seem to work fine (user+Junk@domain.ltd goes to Junk folder), but if I set a folder that doesn't exist, it will be created. We surely don't want it to work that way, so any help where to start looking for solution?

Thanks!

You can try to update 'lda_mailbox_autocreate = ' to 'no' in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf.

This seems to do exactly the right job. But does this also disable auto creating mailbox folders on first login?

Auto-create required mail folders are controlled by Dovecot 'autocreate' plugin.
