Topic: storage installer path - /var/vmail/____

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
- Web server (Apache or Nginx):
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
- Related log if you're reporting an issue:
====
CentOS 6.7 MySQL iredAdmin-Pro 2.3.1

During the install, you ask for a path to the mail store.

Example: Ref.  http://www.iredmail.org/docs/install.ir … .rhel.html
"Choose backend used to store mail accounts. You can manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin, our web-based iRedMail admin panel."

However, you do not ask for path for other components installed like the backupscripts, settings.py, etc. some of which are put into /var/vmail/____

Does the installer alter the paths for these directories/scripts if one chooses a different path for install?
If not, would it be wise to separate the paths during install?
Doing rsync b/w machines of /var/vmail/ or altering mount points could cause one to lose the additional directors/scripts.

Something most of your users are probably aware and can address appropriately.  However, since you probably get a lot of newer users, it might help prevent a mistake like someone made on our system...

Cheers

Backup scripts and backup copies will be stored under /var/vmail/backup. If you want to change it before installing iRedMail, please press Ctrl-C to abort when iRedMail installer asks you "Continue? [y|N]" right after the dialog wizard, then edit file "config" under iRedMail directory.
