Topic: Account - All about

Good Morning iRedMail Users ;)

I have got few questions :

I have got Debian 6.0 and iRedMail Package,
- system account named: "user" (which is on server mydomain.pl)
- virtual mail (added by postfixadmin) account named "user@mydomain.pl"

I login by pop3/imap/roundcube....but ...what account will I login into?

Regards

I have alway used user@domain.net, user2@domain.net and user6@domain3.net - that way I have alway been sure to login to the right account.

But if you have only one domain you maybe can use only user and password and not full user@domain.net + password..

Well where is the password stored for the right account, where user1 (system account) user1@domain.pl (virtual account added by postfix) ?

What password is more important?

iRedMail uses virtual mail accounts by default, so it's the one you added by PostfixAdmin.

As i mentioned in previous post, iRedMail uses virtual mail accounts by default, so you should use password "abcd" (virtual user), and mail will be delivered to this virtual user too.
