Topic: iRedMail 0.5 rc2 - Problems - spamassassin, policyd

Hi I've run through the install of .5 rc2 using the MySQL non LDAP install.

I've got the system up and running in a basic format however I've run into a few problems.... I.E. I can send email to the server and will accept the email. The accounts can be access via IMAP, and thus Webmail (RoundCube) to the mailboxes.

I have loaded on boot spamassassin, postfix, postfix-policyd, amavis, mysql, clamav.

Policyd didn't seem to install correctly. Seems to be easily fixed by downloading the latest package from sourceforge and installing the DB for the package and adding a user and the appropriate password as listed in postfix-policyd.conf. A /etc/init.d/postfix-policyd restart shows the service now loading and logging into the MySQL db without error.

I've run through the config files and ensured spamassasin is set to run, and that the amavis config 50-user is allowing the spam, and v to process. (Running a spamassasin -D -t < testspam, shows me that spamassassin will detect spam)

What I'm not seeing in my headers is that spamassasin has processed the file, nor am I seeing this in /var/log/mail.log. I am also not seeing any processing of policyd there either.

Is anyone able to advise on some of the next steps I should take to work through and resolve the current issues.

The system running is Debian Lenny.

Thanks.

Yes amavisd is scanning..

Spamassassin isn't though, nor does policyd seem to be processing.
