Topic: Share Sent Items and set it to read only for others

Hi.

I have iRedMail 0.6.1 installed on Ubuntu 10.04 Server.

I have 2 accounts. First is Mihai and the second is Sergiu.
I want Sergiu to view Mihai's Sent Items folder, but only be able to read and not delete.
I set symbolic links and Sergiu can see Mihai's Sent Items folder. The problem is that he can also delete messages.

Another thing. Is it possible to make Sent Items read only for everybody including the owner of teh account. The account owner should have write acces only when new mail is saved in Sent Items.

thanks.

You can try "Shared Folder" with dovecot-1.2:
http://wiki.dovecot.org/action/show/SharedMailboxes

Also, Roundcube-0.5 (not released yet) supports shared folder, maybe you'd like to test it with roundcube. smile

Re: Share Sent Items and set it to read only for others

i tried to configure all those options... without success..

the "Symlinking mailboxes" works... but the problem is that i want to give only read permission.

I dont know how to setup ACL to give only read permission on shared mailbox folder

thanks
