I have a very nicely running version of 0.9.7 running and am going to use iRedMail for another project.
I have a dedicated quad core Xeon machine ready for a new OS and a new iRedMail install but I have some questions before I begin.

I have read on the forums that Apache will be deprecated soon in favor of NGinx
I want to "Future Proof" my iRedMail server so I will not be installing Ubuntu and Apache as I did previously.

So, here is the question . . .

What linux distribution would you suggest as the best to "Future Proof" this server?

I am leaning towards CENTOS 7.3 minimal for the platform

Thoughts?

Thanks
