Topic: Problems sending mail

CentOS 5.0 Virtual machine (on openvz)

ran iredmail stable script

in the maillog i have these errors

mail postfix/smtp[898]: connect to 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024: Connection refused


any ideas?

i cannot send email to myself at the moment.

Amavisd issue.

Restart it:

# /etc/init.d/amavisd restart

Make sure it's running after above command:

# netstat -ntlp | grep 10024

If not, please post related log in /var/log/maillog.

there was a pem file that had permission problems, i fixed that and now it is starting great.

permission issue? it should be set correctly, did you create a new one? and what comman did you used to solve it? why not share it smile
