Topic: [RESOLVED] Not able to receive mail from outside the domain

============ Required information ====
- iRedMail version: 0.9.7
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
- Store mail accounts in which backend: MySQL
- Web server: Nginx
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? No
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

Hello,

I have a fresh iRedmail install, and all appears to be setup properly. However, I am not able to receive emails from outside of my domain. I can send emails between accounts within the domain without issue. I can also send mails to Gmail and other services just fine, and it does not get marked as spam.

I have pasted what I believe to be relevant config information below, with my actual domain replaced by "mydomain". Note that I have greylisting disabled, and when tailing mail.log I do not actually see any errors.

I have also confirmed via mxtoolbox's diagnostics that my DNS is setup properly and included their session log below as well. (https://mxtoolbox.com/diagnostic.aspx)

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Re: [RESOLVED] Not able to receive mail from outside the domain

*) Usually this is caused by incorrect DNS record (MX and/or A type records). Since you didn't show us the real domain name, we cannot help verify it.
*) Maybe your server rejects or cannot deliver emails, please check Postfix log file to figure it out. If DNS records are correct, there must be some log.

Re: [RESOLVED] Not able to receive mail from outside the domain

Thanks for the reply!

I took a closer look at DNS, and found the problem to be with the DNS setup. I was attempting to serve two IPs with my domain, but the TLS kept failing to resolve to the proper IP due to the A name records. I'm in the midst of re-structuring my network any way, and so just moved all my domain records to the new IP. I'll setup some other routing solution to keep my web host on another box when the time comes.

This is a resolved issue.
