Topic: Dkim NXDOMAIN not found

Having some small problems with my dkim setup.
Have generated dkim keys for domain.tld
In postfix myhostname and myorigin are set to mail.domain.tld and mydomain is set to domain.tld
server hostname is mail.domain.tld
but when i do a lookup for nslookup -type=txt dkim._domainkey.domain.tld i always get
server can't find dkim._domainkey.domain.tld: NXDOMAIN
i have set the dkim keys into DNS zone using TXT record
host is dkim._domainkey.domain.tld and the key is the key generated without () and ""
do i need to add other things into the DNS zone or do i need to generate the key for mail.domain.tld ?
also the testing says invalid
thank you

Re: Dkim NXDOMAIN not found

Do you actually add TXT type DNS record "dkim._domainkey.domain.tld"?

You have to keep trying to verify this DNS record.

Maybe the DNS server has cache and you have to wait for few hours. Otherwise your DNS record might be wrong.
