Topic: Re: How to bind Individual IP's for virtual domains

Hi,

I am trying iRedMail OpenSource Email Server Solution, i have multiple domains for my company so i need to bind each domain with seperate ip.

If i have only one ip configured on my server & all domains are binded to the same ip address, if from one domain spanmails are generated due virus are someother reason the whole server will comedown, as the ip gets blocked on spamhause.org

So to solve this issue i need to confiure seperate ip for each domain.

If somebody have solution,  plz help me out !!.

A simple solution is postfix-2.7.x with multi instances, each instance bind to one ip address.
There're other solutions, search in postfix mail list archive please.

if you use Ubuntu 10.04 or FreeBSD, the postfix is 2.7, you just need modify the config files.
